The multiple layers of experiences from the initial drop off point for the residents to their main door to their individual units are designed with the intention to have the resident consciously encounter a distinctive and memorable experience. Whether its visual, smell, sound, touch, wind or the sun, the experience is planned and focused.

Each areas of the experience is to be accentuated by means of architecture, landscape, lighting, textures and other means within the environment to create the intended experiences.

It is a hidden sanctuary located in the suburb of Ampang South, and still with convenient access to Kuala Lumpur’s golden triangle.

The Concept

The concept of the The ReVeal employs the idea of layering. The experiential journey of each resident upon arriving is to be slowly showered with subtle yet soothing experiences of smell, touch, sound and sight.

At the drop-off area, each resident is greeted by the light and airy structure of the port-cochere. An opened structure at all sides with no obstructing walls, the port-cochere is designed to allow gentle breezes to flow through the lobby. The gentle cooling effect of the surrounding water ponds enhance the coolness of the breeze.
